Caring for your christmas tree

As all of our trees are freshly cut, it is best to buy your tree as near to the time you wish to display it in your home as possible. This helps to maximise needle retention, and to keeps your tree looking pristine. Trees do prefer a cool place, and should be displayed away from all radiators and fires.

After you have bought your tree, it should be kept outside in a cool shaded place, preferably standing in water, until it is required indoors. Before bringing the tree indoors, it is advantageous if approximately half an inch is cut off the butt in order to open up the pores of the tree. Mount it in a water-holding stand such as the Cinco we have for sale.

Remember to water your tree daily- you will be surprised how much water it drinks!
